From the icy shores of Lake Superior comes Duluth, MN's Diegetic with an enormous new 5-track EP, “Become The Ground.”

Rising post-rock soloist turned screamo songwriter Diegetic finds inspiration in Minnesota's cold, northern landscape. The changing of the seasons from fleeting summer to soft fall, to enveloping winter is evident in Diegetic's dynamic songs, which feel soft and somber, and at once, cold and crushing.

On 'Become the Ground,' Diegetic's sound evolves into the self-defined genre of 'POST HEART CORE,' with songs showcasing emotive and vulnerable songwriting and cacophonic sounds. Raw, screaming vocals contrast with the melancholic guitars, wall-of-sound-style distorted riffs, and frenetic drumming to create something that feels wholly new and yet comfortingly familiar.
